Depending on what you are going through right now, this time of year may not be the happiest. Happiness depends on our circumstances. But joy is different. It is a condition of the heart that endures even in the midst of tears that come from suffering, loss, and grief. Our King comes to bring us joy, not just for a season, but joy that lasts.
