Do you know what you are doing when you prune a plant in your garden? When Jesus describes us as branches connected to Him (the Vine) through faith, he also says that his Father prunes us. Have you been undergoing some divine pruning lately? You can trust your heavenly Father to know what he is doing, even when the pruning hurts. He is able to see to it that you are fruitful in ways you never thought you could be.
