Growing up in a nation generally considered to be Christian, it may have been easy to think that rejection of Jesus was the exception rather than the norm. That's not so easy to see anymore. Yet receiving Jesus has never been the norm in this world. That's because it's not what our hearts are even inclined to do. This underscores all the more how much of a miracle it is that anyone believes in Jesus as their Savior.
