Through our connection to Jesus, God causes the amazing miracle of faith in our lives and produces fruits of that faith in our thoughts, words, and actions. This underscores just how necessary it is for us to remain in his Word. Just as a plant needs good soil, we need God's Word to work the soil of our hearts so that faith grows and flourishes there.
