Any builder knows that messing up on the foundation causes problems all the way through the project. Starting with a solid foundation, though, ensures a building will forever stand. God's building plans for his house are on the cornerstone of Christ. The foundation is his Word. As God's house is being built of all who believe in him, we are motivated to stick to the building plans where Christ ties everything together.
