Jesus calls us to love one another. Yet our strength to love God and our neighbor is little. In a meal that we have come to call the "Lord's Supper," Jesus gives us the most powerful thing to love. He gives us himself... his body and blood, which proved the depth of God's self-sacrificing love for us, cleanses us of all the ways we have failed to love, and strengthens us to love in a way we otherwise never could have.
