When you hear the word “agent,” the idea of a secret agent may come to mind. A secret agent is one who is sent out on behalf of someone else to accomplish their will, but without it being known. Jesus sends us out as his agents in this world, but not to keep him a secret. He pours out his generous gifts on us that we may be generous toward others, all so that they can come to know him.
